In 2008, we are pleased to announce the introduction of repeat-free technology setting a new standard in FISH, which has been developed in cooperation with our alliance partner Immunicon Corporation.
By eliminating the repeat sequences, clinicians are simply provided with brighter signals and a clearer background. With the introduction of these probes, the use of Cot1 DNA and pre-annealing for unique sequence probes is obsolete. Additionally, all oncology, microdeletion and prenatal probes are now offered in a ready-to-use format.
All Poseidon probes are CE-marked and fully compliant with the European In Vitro Diagnostic Directive. They are registered as in vitro diagnostic devices. Additional probes are constantly under development based on customer request and market needs
